Peoria

Named after Peoria, Illinois, Peoria, Arizona is the ninth largest city in the state and continues to grow successfully. With an increasing population of 150,000 residents, Peoria is flourishing with recent business and residential developments.

Peoria has Arizona’s second largest lake, Lake Pleasant, which offers a wide variety of recreational activities including camping, boating, water sports, and fishing.

Peoria is also the home of the Peoria Sports Complex which the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners call home for Spring Training. With all the Peoria has to offer with its attractions and activities, it’s no wonder that in 2008 this city was listed as one of the Top 100 Places To Live.
