Glendale

Located nine miles from downtown Phoenix, Glendale offers the Jobing.com Arena, home to the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes and NNL’s Arizona Sting, and the University of Phoenix Stadium which is home for the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The UOP stadium is where Super Bowl XLII was held in 2008. The Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers also call Glendale their home for Spring Training.

Glendale is also home to metropolitan Phoenix’s first medical school, Midwestern University, and the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Glendale is flourishing, with an increase of residents within the last few years bringing their population to over 225,000. The planned extension of the METRO light rail service by 2026 will give other Arizonans easy access to all that Glendale has to offer without driving.
